The Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) was held in Tashkent from September 1 to 4. More than 90 speakers from 57 member countries of the IsDB group participated in the event, as well as over 2,000 participants from large businesses, experts, and media representatives.

The General Director of TAIBA LEASING, Bakhodir Kadirov, participated in the 46th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and in the "Private Sector Day" forum organized by ICD — the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (founder of IP OOO TAIBA LEASING) and other subsidiaries of the IsDB.

Mr. Ayman Amin Sejini, President of the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector, emphasized that the entire financial world needs to learn to work with digital technologies: "Banking is changing very dynamically and quickly. In 5-10 years, everything will not be as it was before. Therefore, financial technologies and the ability to work with them are the future! I see the efforts made by Uzbekistan and their results. I am very glad to be here."

ICD aims to play an important role in the activities of the IsDB and national financial institutions of member countries, paying special attention to private sector institutions in their various activities and operations in full compliance with Sharia principles. In addition to expanding financing and financial services, ICD provides consulting services to governments and private sector institutions with the aim of adopting policies for the establishment, expansion, and modernization of private sector companies, implementing advanced methods of Islamic financing and management.

The Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) (www.ICD-ps.org) signed financing line agreements with four banks in Uzbekistan for a total of $40 million.
